Hi Parents!
There is a lot of great stuff going on in KidSong - check out what's up this week!
In Togetherland, we're wrapping up our unit "God keeps His promises", as we see that God kept another promise to Abraham. God gave Abraham a son, as part of His plan to make a special family to show the world His love.
The memory verse is the same:
"The Lord will do what He says." Isaiah 38:7
and keep singing that Promises song!
Konnect this morning introduces a new king, Solomon, who could ask for anything he wanted from God. Solomon asked for wisdom, and God gave it to him in such measure he became famous as the wisest man in history. We'll hear the story of the women who fought over the baby, compare Solomon's wisdom to grains of sand in a bucket, have a dilemma of our own over a tootsie pop, and discover how wisdom is a crown and a blessing even to us.
The memory verse is -
"If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him." James 1:5.
Wow! What a great week as we celebrate the God who keeps promises and gives wisdom!
